My artistic journey began in the late 1990s with ASCII and ANSI art on the Amiga, where the limitations of characters and colour shaped my understanding of form, structure and composition. Today, I work with mechanical typewriter drawing, printmaking, oil painting and analogue photography. Rather than treating these as separate disciplines, I see them as different expressions of the same artistic process. Every image finds its own material.
I am drawn to working methods that preserve the visible traces of their making. Their limitations are not obstacles but essential parts of the work itself. Alongside my artistic practice, I work in information technology as a trainer and consultant. Art has been a constant part of my life for more than two decades.
